Welcome to our Team Tillis newsletter, where we discuss what Thom has been up to from the campaign trail to Capitol Hill, and everything in between! |

Friend, We’re back with your weekly update on the work Senator Thom Tillis is doing to protect conservative values and serve the American people. Last night, Thom and his Republican colleagues in the Senate approved a budget that will continue advancing President Trump's agenda while fulfilling commitments to secure the border, rebuild our economy, and restore peace through strength. This resolution also brings us one step closer to cutting taxes for hardworking families by making the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017 permanent. Even when the partisan noise is loud, Thom stays above the fray to remain focused on legislation that will help Americans live better lives. If you believe in Thom’s vision and his commitment to helping President Trump carry out the America First agenda, please join Team Tillis! The road to 2026 begins NOW and we will need your support to be victorious. Keep reading for more updates on everything we accomplished this week! -Team Tillis |
The Trump Effect: Restoring the Rule of Law and Securing the Southern Border
|
The rule of law is being restored. Last week, a top MS-13 gang leader was finally captured outside of our nation’s capital, and three more suspected MS-13 members were arrested in Florida for their alleged involvement in the brutal murder of a man back in 2014. Thanks to President Trump and FBI Director Kash Patel, foreign terrorists and violent criminals don't have legal protections in the U.S. anymore. As Thom has pointed out many times, the brave men and women of ICE and the FBI are working overtime to bring this national security crisis into check. For four years, all we got were excuses from Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, and the Left. Under new leadership, and with the help of America-first senators like Thom, we are seeing real results for the American people. → Read more: Top MS-13 leader arrested in Virginia: White House officials (NewsNation) |

Legislative Highlights: Thom Co-sponsors Legislation to Stop Unconstitutional Judicial Overreach
|
The judiciary branch is a key part of our nation’s political system, but it’s clear that the federal court’s use of nationwide injunctions has gotten out of hand. As a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, Thom recognizes this and recently co-sponsored a bill to address the issue. The Judicial Relief Clarification Act of 2025 would make sure federal court decisions only apply to the people involved in a case—not the entire country, ensuring the courts stay focused on their proper role under the Constitution. Here’s what Thom had to say about the bill: “Politics should stay out of our judicial system. I was proud to join Senator Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) to introduce the Judicial Relief Clarification Act to end the practice of universal injunctions that enable activist judges to unilaterally block President Trump’s agenda.” This commonsense legislation is designed to clarify the scope of judicial rulings and increase the threshold for judges to issue decisions that will affect every American. |
Taking Care of North Carolina: Thom Fights for Ranchers, Farmers, and Rural Americans
|
Hurricane Helene caused nearly $5 billion in damage to North Carolina’s farms, leaving the agricultural community to pick up the pieces. Thankfully, money from the American Relief Act will help farmers and ranchers who were hit by natural disasters between 2023 and 2024—but these funds must be made available soon to maximize impact. Senator Thom Tillis recently teamed up with Senator Jeanne Shaheen (D-New Hampshire) to urge the USDA to speed up the distribution of more than $23 billion in relief funding. In their letter to Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins, they emphasized that the money is meant to help farmers across the country—especially those with damaged crops, livestock, or farm infrastructure. The senators also pointed out that this program is designed to support both insured and uninsured farmers, including small and diverse operations. It even includes help for farmers who need assistance applying for the funds. As Thom has said repeatedly, he will not rest until North Carolinians have the resources they need to recover from the devastation caused by Hurricane Helene. → Read more: Tillis urges secretary of agriculture to expedite disaster relief for farmers (The Carolina Journal)

Make it Monthly: Recurring Donations Fuel our Campaign
|
Thom’s 2026 campaign is the #1 Senate race in the country. Democrats will throw everything they have at us to try to flip this seat and regain control from Republicans in the Senate. We can’t let that happen. But we need all the help we can get if we want to stand a chance against the Democrat-funded machine. Recurring donors fuel our campaign and allow us to have a steady stream of resources to fight against attacks from the Left. Will you become a recurring donor today to fuel Team Tillis and hold onto a Republican majority in 2026?
