This isn’t the first time Mike Pence has lied to the American public -- but it may be the most egregious.
The vice president claimed to be an advocate for peaceful protests on Twitter, tweeting:
Twitter users quickly reminded the VP that he hasn’t stood for the right of peaceful protesters in the past -- recalling the time Pence walked out of an NFL game because some players had chosen to take a knee during the national anthem to protest police brutality.
