Hope Walz here - Governor Walz’s daughter!

My dad’s birthday is this Sunday, and I want to surprise him with something special: a virtual birthday card signed by his strongest supporters.

You probably know my dad as a teacher, a veteran, a championship-winning football coach, and, above all, a public servant who never stops fighting to improve people’s lives.

He’s all of those things, but to me, he’s just Dad—the guy who taught me to stand up for others, tells the worst dad jokes, and never stops cheering me on. I’m so proud of him and grateful to be his daughter.

My dad doesn’t like to make a big deal about his birthday, but I know it would mean a lot to him to get a card signed by the people he fights for every single day.
