Musk and Trump have an intentional strategy – years in the making – to dismantle the federal government, defund its essential functions, and consolidate even more power in the hands of billionaires and corporations.

Today, thousands of people are taking to the streets to expose and block their dangerous agenda.

So much is at stake in this budget alone. It would fund massive tax cuts for corporations and billionaires by diverting billions of dollars away from programs for food and water access, food assistance, healthcare, and school lunches. Here’s what’s on the line:

>> Cuts to food assistance and school lunches
>> Cuts to local financing for safe and clean water
>> Cuts to Medicaid

It’s time for our members of Congress – Democrats and Republicans – to prove to us who they represent, and the choice is simple. Will they stand with ordinary people, or will they help the ultra-rich get richer by gutting protections that keep us safe?

With a slim majority in Congress, we need just a handful of Republicans to do the right thing and oppose these cuts. And Democrats need to be speaking up and doing everything they can to block this agenda.
