Another critical session of the United Nations Human Rights Council has just wrapped up in Geneva—and once again, CitizenGO was right there, representing you. We spoke up. Loud and clear. Here’s a short video with the highlights of what we said—take a moment to see how your voice reached the very heart of the UN: <a href= "[link removed]" target="_blank" ><img src="[link removed]" alt="" width="350" height="175" constrain="true" imagepreview="false" border="" style="display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" /></a> Now, I want to share something that’s been weighing heavily on our hearts lately: the brutal situation facing Christian families in Syria. The stories coming out of there… they’re devastating. Entire communities are being torn apart by violence and persecution. And we just couldn’t stay silent. So our amazing colleague Lauren Hudson stepped up—seriously, she’s incredible—and made a bold call for action: investigations into the violence, protection for the vulnerable, and justice for those being driven from their homes. Thanks to your support, the UN couldn’t ignore it. Syrian Christians were finally given the attention and respect they deserve. Because if we don’t speak up for them… who will? But that was just one of the powerful moments. In another intervention, Campaign Director for Australia, George Christensen—you’d love him, he’s a total firecracker—took a stand against the rising wave of censorship being pushed in the name of “fighting misinformation.” George warned diplomats: when governments control speech, it’s often people of faith and conscience who are silenced first. He made it crystal clear: censorship is never the answer. And then there was Eduard Pröls, our Campaign Director for Germany —a fearless voice for freedom—who exposed the dark side of the EU’s new Digital Services Act. It might sound harmless, but it gives governments and Big Tech the power to shut down dissent. Eduard knows this firsthand—he’s faced court cases just for standing by his beliefs. He told the UN: True democracy only survives when debate is free and open. Finally, Chris Joyce, our Campaign Director for the UK, delivered a passionate defense of children—calling out the reckless use of puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones on minors. His message was clear and heartfelt: children deserve real protection, not dangerous, ideology-driven experiments. Each of these powerful interventions brought your voice directly to the United Nations Human Rights Council. While it’s just one of many international forums, the UN HRC plays a crucial role in shaping human rights policy and setting global standards.  That’s why CitizenGO exists.
