I’m writing to you directly because I want you to know where I stand.
After wrestling with this decision, I’ve chosen to stay in the House of Representatives, fully committed to advancing the America First mission.
Being asked by President Trump to serve as U.S Ambassador to the UN was an honor I didn’t take lightly - I was fired up and ready to represent his administration on the world stage.
But my priority has always been serving you and championing the America First cause. When it became evident that I’d make the biggest impact staying in Congress, I didn’t hesitate when deciding to stay right where I am.
With President Trump leading from the White House and our House GOP majority on a knife’s edge, every moment and every fighter in this movement counts. I couldn’t turn my back on the effort to lock down our borders, rebuild our economy, and shield our way of life from the radical left’s agenda.
President Trump needs every ally he can count on in the House and I’m not going anywhere.
Since I dug in the left has zeroed in on me like never before. They see me as a roadblock because I am a conservative who will stop at nothing to see America First succeed.
They’re throwing everything they’ve got at me including relentless smear jobs, shadowy cash flooding in to tear me apart, and plans to steal my seat next election.
They’re obsessed with shutting me down because they know I am here for you.
I’ve been focused on preparing for what I thought was the next step, not stockpiling campaign funds. Now, with the left’s assault in full swing, I’m scrambling to build up our defenses to hit back and keep our edge. That’s why I need you today.
