Donald Trump and Elon Musk have made it their mission to wreak havoc on our country. And they will succeed, if we don’t fight back.
In just the past two weeks, Republicans and Donald Trump have passed record-high tariffs that could tank our economy, sworn to cut funding from public schools if they don’t dismantle DEI policies, and accidentally deported a United States citizen to a prison in El Salvador.
Donald Trump and Elon Musk’s actions are causing enormous damage to our nation. But, our efforts to fight back against Musk might be working—we may have forced Donald Trump to fire him.
We can resist, and we must. Here are some steps we can take to fight back and protect our democracy from Trump and Musk this week:
→ Attending in-person or virtual town halls. Check your town or county bulletin for the week, see what events are taking place, attend if you can, and keep the pressure on.
→ Call or write your local, state, and Congressional representatives (both Democratic and Republican) to make your voice and concerns heard.
→ Donating to Democrats like Rep. Zoe Lofgren who are leading the resistance against Trump in Congress.
