No Hate Crimes in Our UDistrict

TONIGHT, 4/4, 6:30 - 7:30pm
UDistrict Light Rail (4300 Brooklyn Ave NE)

Last Friday, March 27th, transphobes brutally attacked a member of our community, Andie, in the U District. (The Stranger covered it here.)

Join friends, family, and allies in standing up to take back our neighborhood and show that we’re here, we’re queer, and we’re fighting back!

Stand up to political violence!

Want to donate to help Andie and her family as she recovers? Consider donating to the GoFundMe her partner has set up.

Phonebank for IAM/Delta Campaign

This Sunday, 4/6, 1PM

RSVP to get the Zoom link and to keep up to date on the campaign!

Did you enjoy phonebanking or canvassing this recent special election and want to keep the organizing energy going? Do you want to be part of one of the largest union drives in the country?

The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) has reached out to DSA chapters nationwide to assist with the groundwork for their organizing drive at Delta Airlines.

This is a collaboration between IAM members at other airlines, Delta employees who want the union, IAM organizers, and DSA members including Seattle DSA’s own Labor Working Group. Our role is to help workers and union organizers reach members outside the workplace, because the airport is such a heavily surveilled environment.

We will be phonebanking Delta workers whose union cards have expired. We are trying to get them to re-sign their cards as every card counts in a union certification!
