Donald Trump and Elon Musk think this country belongs to them. They're taking everything they can get their hands on — our health care, our data, our jobs, our services — and are daring the world to stop them. This is a crisis, and the time to act is now.
On Saturday, April 5, union members across the country will rally to send a clear message: HANDS OFF! Join AFGE and our union siblings this Saturday, April 5, starting at 12 PM on the National Mall. AFGE President Everett Kelley and AFL-CIO President Liz Shuler are among the speakers on the National Mall.
Union members will gather at the AFL-CIO headquarters (815 16th St NW) at 10 AM on Saturday before the event. We'll depart at 10:30 AM and walk to the Washington Monument, where the official event will begin at noon. Click here to RSVP for the pre-event meetup at the AFL-CIO.
This mass mobilization day is our message to the world that we do not consent to the destruction of our government and our economy for the benefit of Trump and his billionaire allies.
Alongside Americans across the country, we are marching, rallying, and protesting to demand a stop to the chaos and build an opposition movement against the looting of our country. Will you join us tomorrow in DC?
