'The Encampments' Sets Record Straight About Student Movement
and Mahmoud Khalil

A Film for the Whole Movement to Get Behind,
Now in Theaters Nationwide

'The Encampments' documentary on what really happened at Columbia, has sold out theaters in NYC and has now been picked up at over 65 theaters nationwide. As we continue all our work mobilizing and organizing, we encourage everyone to go see this important film at an urgent moment for the Palestine solidarity movement and free speech.

We have included the current list of theaters below. Packing the theaters is important to help get the film even wider distribution.

The filmmakers explained: "THE ENCAMPMENTS follows student organizers, including the recently detained Mahmoud Khalil, as they take a historic stand against their institutions’ investments in the Gaza genocide. While originally scheduled for later release, we have chosen to bring it to audiences early with the blessing of those featured, driven by the urgent need to challenge the misinformation surrounding Mahmoud, the student movement, and all who feel the moral duty to stand against genocide." This film was made by BreakThrough in association with Watermelon Pictures, with artist Macklemore as Executive Producer.
