I’m sure you’ve heard of the President’s tariffs and their effect on markets recently. You deserve to know where I stand on this–there is no plan to implement these effectively and they will raise prices for the middle class. 

The Wall Street Journal wrote that these tariffs are the equivalent of a $6 trillion tax increase. We’re treating our allies the same way we’re treating our adversaries, which is wrong. And while the President repeatedly promised to lower prices on the campaign trail, these tariffs are raising prices. 

We need the President to work with Congress to make a comprehensive plan and industrial policy.
