Empowering Hoosiers

John,

Governor Braun and his administration have continued this week at full speed,
delivering on his promises to improve education, streamline government
services, and protect Hoosiers.

Governor Braun announced new partnerships to better connect students with
career opportunities, ensuring they are prepared for success whether they
choose college, the workforce, or military service. These new partnerships and
will better our students for whatever future they choose, and are key to
Governor Braun's Freedom and Opportunity Agenda for education.

Governor Braun also issued two executive orders modernize and improve the
Bureau of Motor Vehicles and the transportation permitting process, placing
customer service at the forefront of his administration view towards state
services.

Following yesterday's severe storms, Governor Braun activated the Indiana
National Guard to aid in recovery efforts for all impacted Hoosiers.

Our representatives in the General Assembly have also been hard at work,
sending bills to Governor Braun's desk aimed at increasing government
efficiency, protecting the rights and safety of Hoosiers, and more.

Our Republican leadership has taken decisive action to support, protect, and
empower Hoosiers, and the Indiana GOP is proud to stand with them in these
efforts.

As always, thank you for being a part of our team. Please feel free to reach
out if there's anything I can assist with.

Lana Keesling, Indiana GOP Chairwoman

Governor Braun Signs Executive Orders to Modernize the BMV and Streamline
Permitting in Transportation

Governor Mike Braun on Tuesday, signed two executive orders to improve
customer service for Hoosiers: one modernizing technology at the BMV to better
serve Hoosiers, and another to streamline the permitting process in Indiana’s
transportation network.

What he said: “Customer service was always my top priority when I was building
my business, and it’s my top priority for Hoosiers as well. Governor Mitch
Daniels revolutionized the BMV twenty years ago, and the time has now come to
build on that progress with a new modernization effort. The BMV is the one
place where nearly everyone interacts with their state government, and these
modernization solutions will allow the BMV to deliver the best-in-class
customer service Hoosiers deserve.”
