Question Of The Week
I went on Larry Kudlow's show to talk about extending the existing tax cuts put in place by President Trump during his first term. Do you agree that these tax cuts are critical to sustaining our Made in America economy?
I support President Trump’s pick of Lt. General “Razin” Caine to be next Chairman of the Joint Chiefs!
Our military must be focused on readiness, not wokeness.
No more political generals like Mark Milley! Click here to watch me discuss.
Education Savings Accounts for Military Families Act
Senator Ted Cruz (R-Texas) and I recently introduced the Education Savings Accounts for Military Families Act. This legislation allows military families to opt-in to Military Education Savings Accounts (ESAs) to help fund their children’s education and expand their access to personalized, high-quality learning opportunities.
This bill supports military readiness by helping attract and retain top talent, ensuring service members don’t have to sacrifice their children’s education. I’m proud to partner with Senator Cruz on this commonsense bill.
College Admissions Accountability Act
I introduced the College Admissions Accountability Act this week. The bill would create a Special Inspector General to investigate racial discrimination in college admissions at federally funded schools. It enforces the Supreme Court's 2023 ban on race-based admissions and Title VI of the Civil Rights Act. Schools found in violation could lose federal funding.
Colleges and universities should admit students based on merit and achievement, not the color of their skin. Race-based admissions have deepened divisions in our country, but under President Trump’s leadership, we have an opportunity to end racial discrimination in higher education.
Freedom of Association in Higher Education Act
This week, Ruben Gallego (D-Ariz.) and I introduced the Freedom of Association in Higher Education Act, a bipartisan bill that protects college students' rights to join single-sex social organizations, like fraternities, sororities, or off-campus clubs, without fear of punishment or discrimination from their schools.
Students should be free to form and join single-sex organizations like fraternities and sororities without facing punishment. This bill protects students’ freedom to associate, uphold tradition, and choose the communities they want to be a part of. Click here to learn more.
