This is irresponsible and the exact opposite of what we need from our elected officials right now to help save our democracy from facsism.
Illinois Governor JB Pritzker, by contrast, since Trump’s inauguration, has emerged as a leading voice challenging Trump and the far right's attempts to undermine democracy, equity, and the rights of all in America.
Pritzker has positioned himself at the front of those speaking out against Trump by invoking Nazis’ rise to power as a warning about the dangers of Trump and his administration’s destructive actions.
“It took the Nazis one month, three weeks, two days, eight hours and 40 minutes to dismantle a constitutional republic,” Pritzker said.
