When: Saturday, April 26, 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM
Where: Occoquan Bay NWR, 14050 Dawson Beach Road, Woodbridge, VA 22191, Visitor Center Central Parking Lot

Garlic Mustard is one of many of the invasive plant species threatening native grassland habitats and the birds that rely on them at Occoquan Bay National Wildlife Refuge. Join us on Saturday, April 26 at Occoquan Bay National Wildlife Refuge in Woodbridge. Upon arrival, volunteers will meet USFWS Visitor Services Specialist, Gabriela (Gabby) Youngken, in the Central Parking Lot (not the Visitor Information Center.) Volunteers will assist USFWS staff by pulling invasive garlic mustard while also learning about the native species harmed if it is left unmanaged. No experience required. Sign up here.
