John — In March, Jahana reintroduced the Feed Hungry Veterans Act, which will strengthen food assistance programs to fight food insecurity among veterans.

Rates of food insecurity are significantly higher among disabled veterans, but despite widespread need, many veterans who are eligible for these life-saving programs do not participate.

Veterans who struggle with food insecurity see higher rates of mental health struggles, including suicidal ideation, John. Addressing food insecurity among veterans is vital, that is why Jahana is stepping up. Will you add your name right now and support the Feed Hungry Veterans Act?

We can and must do everything we can to provide veterans with the wrap-around services they are entitled to.

Jahana is working hard to provide common-sense solutions to strengthen our most effective anti-hunger programs and honor the courage and sacrifice of our service members by making it easier for them to put food on the table.

Thanks for your support today,

Team Hayes
