Legislative Update

We had a big week here at the Capitol! Our first and second committee deadlines are today, which means that all of our policy bills need to get through our committees. Friday next week is the third committee deadline, which means that our budget bills need to get through committees. Negotiations are ongoing, and I am working tirelessly to get my Read Act and Teacher Apprenticeship bills included in our omnibus bills. I will update you once negotiations have finalized.
