Upcoming demonstrations in solidarity with Palestine
Israel's genocide in Gaza continues to reveal new horrors on a daily basis, with over 1,000 killed by Israel since it broke the ceasefire on 18 March. In one airstrike this week, 27 people were killed in the bombing of a school that had been turned into a shelter for the displaced. We've also heard more shocking reports about the killing of 15 Palestinian paramedic and rescue workers by Israeli soldiers - who were found along with their vehicles buried in a mass grave with their hands tied and shot at close range.
Meanwhile, those protesting Britain's continued support for Israel are increasingly under attack. Last weekend, the Quakers' Westminster Friends Meeting House was raided by Met Police, where they arrested several pro-Palestine activists who were holding a meeting. CND joined their peaceful protest at New Scotland Yard on Thursday.
We need to continue to resist these outrageous attacks on the right to protest and keep speaking out against Britain's complicity in Israel's war crimes. Please take part in the upcoming national day of demonstrations for Palestine on 12 April and start mobilising for the next national demonstration in London on 17 May, where we'll be marking the 77 anniversary of the Nakba.
