[ [link removed] ]I’m emailing today to ask you to make your first-ever $5
contribution to our campaign so we can win this race and protect our
public lands.

First, I hope you’ll give me a moment to tell you why the fight to protect
our public lands is so personal for me.

Thirty-five generations ago, my ancestors lived in the high desert of New
Mexico. Growing up fishing with my dad and running through the desert with
my cousins, I learned early on that we all have a responsibility to take
care of our planet.

I carried my devotion to our land, wildlife, and natural resources with me
to Congress, and then to the U.S. Department of the Interior. I’m so proud
that, over four years, we protected more lands and waters – 674 million
acres – than any other administration in history.

Right now, the public lands you and I care for so deeply are under urgent
threat. Donald Trump and
Elon Musk have made it clear they intend to auction off our lands to
extractive industries like Big Oil. They’ve attempted to fire our
dedicated National Parks and National Forests workers en masse.

With Trump in the White House, governors will be the first line of defense
against these brazen attacks on our beloved public lands. Thousands of
people across the country have already stepped up in protest against the
exploitation of our parks – and together, our voices are already making a
powerful difference.

[ [link removed] ]Will you rush a $5
donation to our campaign to help protect our public lands for future
generations? As governor, I will be a fierce defender of our rivers,
mesas, farmlands, and forests, but I can’t win without your support.

Be fierce,
