Country First is about action - we don’t just talk about what’s going on, we actually do something about. Since January, we have equipped and empowered nearly 10,000 Americans to take Action home. And it is so amazing to see all the ways our Country First volunteers are stepping up after taking part in our Days of Actions. One volunteer told us yesterday, “I’m so grateful for Country First because you showed me I have a voice - and I’m ready to use it.” Our volunteers are now attending and organizing protests, writing letters to their paper, organizing their own Days of Action, hosting community get-togethers and happy hours. 

And so we wanted to reach out with a challenge: what will you do this week to take Country FIrst to your community? Maybe its setting up a zoom call for a virtual phone bank (you can use the script and phone numbers from our Days of Action by clicking here: www.country1st.com/doa_debrief), maybe it’s wearing your values and getting an official Country First shirt or hat to wear around, maybe its writing a letter to the paper or going to a protest.

Tomorrow, April 5th, there will be a number of protests around the country.  This is a great opportunity to take the tools Country First has provided and equipped you with and make an impact in your community.  Check out this link for events in your area

Whatever it is - this moment is too big, and our democracy too important to sit on the sidelines. We won’t stop taking action, because action means more than words. Which will you choose?
