Mike Huckabee has just cleared the final hurdle to a Senate vote on his nomination to be the US Ambassador to Israel. As the Senate prepares to vote it is time for each of us to speak out against this dangerous appointee.

Mike Huckabee is unfit to serve as the US Ambassador to Israel. He has a record of hateful inflammatory rhetoric, including saying that there is no such thing as a Palestinian, and of support for extremist policies.

Huckabee has openly dismissed ceasefire negotiations, undermined US diplomatic credibility by participating in West Bank settlement construction, and rejected internationally recognized frameworks for resolving the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. His confirmation would further entrench division, threaten US strategic interests, and push us further from peace.

The Senate must reject his nomination. We need you to take action today.
