In a moment, I’m going to ask you to make a donation to my campaign for one of the closest House seats in the entire country here in Colorado. But before I do, please let me explain why your donation today is so important if Democrats are going to flip this seat blue and take back the House.
I’m the son of a single mother – an immigrant who brought us to the United States with not much more than the dream of a better life.
We struggled financially, as many immigrant families do. I helped my mom fill out food stamp applications while I was still a kid. I got a job at McDonald’s during high school and sold the plasma in my blood every week to help pay the bills. We lost our home to foreclosure during the Great Recession like so many others.
I can promise you that during those most trying of moments, my mom never imagined her son would graduate from Yale Law School – and she certainly never thought I’d run to represent families like ours in the United States House of Representatives.
I’m running for Congress because there’s nobody fighting for families like mine in Washington right now. Too many politicians – Republicans and Democrats – have cozied up to the billionaires and Wall Street, taken millions in corporate PAC money, and sold their votes for campaign cash.
My district here in Colorado was one of the closest races in the entire country in 2024. Republicans flipped this seat red and held onto their House majority by fewer than 2,500 votes.
I’m ready to win this seat back for Democrats and be a champion for working class families like mine – but I need your help now to do it. We’ve set a goal of raising another $10,000 before midnight tonight to fight back against the Republican Super PACs and win – but right now, we’re still extremely short with time running out.
