This week, anti-abortion advocates held their annual March for Life event in Richmond, which included a speech from GOP gubernatorial candidate Lt. Governor Winsome Earle-Sears, who made her intentions clear that she will not stop until she strips away our rights.

As Victoria Cobb from the Family Foundation of Virginia puts it for us, there is no doubt that Earle-Sears would try to block our amendment to enshrine abortion rights from becoming law.

As a reminder, Earle-Sears has a long history of fighting against reproductive rights. During session, she stated that she just“couldn’t resist” voting against the right of the people of Virginia to access contraceptives. She also supports enacting a Texas-style abortion ban with no exceptions for rape or incest and that she opposes IVF.
