Elon Musk is gutting federal agencies, firing thousands of workers, and destroying critical programs like Social Security. In the process, he’s threatening the lives of tens of millions of people, the entire economy, and even his own businesses.

Musk and his DOGE (Department of Government Efficiency) cronies are also helping to dismantle the Environmental Protection Agency1 in direct conflict with Tesla’s sustainability mission and core principles. It’s time for Tesla’s board of directors to hold Musk accountable for his reckless actions.

Tesla’s website says it‘s “Accelerating the World's Transition to Sustainable Energy.”

But its CEO is actively eroding that mission on the world’s stage. Musk has pushed the dirty energy “drill, baby, drill” agendas of Trump and fossil fuel fracking millionaire Energy Secretary Chris Wright.

Tesla must see Musk is now the antithesis of a leader for an EV company focused on sustainability.
