Today is Sine Die – the last day of the 2025 Legislative Session.

Our team has been in a full sprint working to ensure that we are delivering results that will bless the people of Georgia, and, with some key wins today, this might be our most productive session yet!

Two of our three biggest priorities await the Governor’s signature – the Riley Gaines Act (SB 1) and the Religious Freedom Restoration Act (SB 36). Both bills are landmark victories and underscore a changing political reality in Georgia – one where our Frontline movement can consistently beat the special interests that have long dominated the Gold Dome. This is made possible because of God’s blessing on our organization, the best trifecta of leaders (Governor Brian Kemp, Lt. Governor Burt Jones, and Speaker Jon Burns) that our state has ever had, and a greater assembly of committed conservatives in both Chambers.

The biggest remaining battle is SB 30 – which bans puberty blockers for the purpose of “gender reassignment.” A terrible amendment has been added onto the bill, so we are asking that it be returned to its original form, passed, and sent to the Governor’s Desk.

A win on puberty blockers – whether in SB 30 or inserted into another bill – would give the Georgia General Assembly the three biggest wins of any session in recent memory!

Overall, Frontline has endorsed 21 bills that have already reached the Governor’s desk awaiting his signature - making it highly likely that we surpass last year’s record. Here are some of the top wins already:

-SB 1, The Riley Gaines Act by Sen. Greg Dolezal protects girls sports and spaces.

-SB 36, The Religious Freedom Restoration Act by Sen. Ed Setzler restores our First Amendment rights to practice our faith.

-SB 68, Tort Reform, sponsored by Sen. John Kennedy, aims to bring fairness to Georgia’s legal system and addresses frivolous litigation that drives up costs for families and small businesses.

-SB 79, the Fentanyl Eradication and Removal Act, sponsored by Sen. Russ Goodman revises the mandatory minimums and threshold amounts of fentanyl.

-SB 185, sponsored by Sen. Randy Robertson prohibits the use of state funds or resources for gender-reassignment treatments for state inmates.

-SB 17, “Ricky and Alyssa's Law,” sponsored by Senator Jason Anavitarte, strengthens school safety measures and works to improve emergency response times.

-HB 111, sponsored by Rep. Soo Hong, reduces the Georgia state income tax.

-HB 340, The Distraction-Free Education Act, sponsored by Rep. Scott Hilton ensures that students stay focused on educational lessons and schools stay cell phone free in K-8th grade.

In addition to SB 30, Frontline is aiming to pass a host of other key bills in the final hours. Here are some of our top priorities:

-HB 127 by Representative Brent Cox which now contains Sen. Marty Harbin’s SB 120 language banning DEI in local education agencies and postsecondary institutions (we are asking the House to “Agree” to the changes)

-SB 28, the REINS Act, sponsored by Sen. Greg Dolezal and backed by our friends at AFP GA is essentially a DOGE bill for Georgia (we are expecting passage in the House, and an “Agree” from the Senate)

-HB 171 by Rep. Brad Thomas bans AI-generated obscene materials depicting minors (we are asking for a restoration of original language, passage by the Senate, and an “Agree” from the House)

- SB 152, the “Expansion of the Georgia Promise Scholarship Act” by Sen. Greg Dolezal is a great school choice bill for Georgia’s Foster Families (we are asking for weakening language to be removed, pass the House, and then “Agreed” to by the Senate)

-SB 39, sponsored by Sen. Blake Tillery, prevents taxpayer dollars from funding gender-affirming surgeries in Georgia (we are asking for it to pass the House and then be “Agreed” to by the Senate).

-SB 21, sponsored by Sen. Blake Tillery, strengthens enforcement against illegal immigration in Georgia (we are asking for it to pass the House).

-HB 253, “Ethan’s Law” sponsored by Rep. David Clark prevents courts from forcing children into harmful custody programs. Language will also be added to allowing baby boxes at legal drop-off sites—ensuring vulnerable infants get immediate care. (we are asking for the House to “Agree” to the Senate’s substitute as amended by the House, and then “Agreed” to by the Senate)

-SB 82, the “Local Charter School Authorization and Support Act of 2025,” sponsored by Sen. Clint Dixon, strengthens educational choice (we are asking for an “Agree” by the Senate)

-HB 150, sponsored by Representative Tim Fleming, addresses growing concerns about foreign influence and threats on Georgia's educational institutions (we are asking for an “Agree” by the House)

-SB 9, sponsored by Senator John Albers, is the artificial intelligence deepfake election bill (we are asking for an “Agree” by the Senate)

As you can see, there is much that has been done and much good that can still come to pass in the closing sprint. And, you can best believe that we will be keeping an eye out for any last minute push for gambling expansion!

I believe that we are poised for a great close to the session. We are so grateful for the leadership of our Governor, and the Lt. Governor and Speaker have done phenomenal jobs leading their respective Chambers. Our hope and prayer is that they finish well.

Please be praying for us today and for big victories – especially in regards to puberty blockers. Your prayers are felt and are very much appreciated!

Ready to Win,

Cole Muzio

PS. It’s really hard to fundraise during session, and I must confess that the Frontline cash-on-hand is a lot lower than I’d like. If you can help us out with a donation as we close out this hectic “session season,” I’d really appreciate it. No amount - $25, $50, $100 – is too small and certainly no amount is too big!
