Yesterday, President Trump was in Maine. This was his first-ever visit to Maine in the four years he’s been in office, and it comes at a time when our country is in deep civil unrest.
So we took to the streets in protest. In Bangor, I gathered with protesters who are fed up with the President and his administration, their skewed priorities, and the racism and division that they make worse every day.
And while Mainers took to the streets, where was Susan Collins? Noticeable for her absence, she is not on the ground with Mainers who want justice, and she’s not in Washington doing or saying anything on the matter. She will not call out her President. In fact, she was hosting a big-ticket fundraiser at the exact same time.
Can you support my campaign today? We need a Senator willing to act on these issues and to stand up to bigotry.
The president continues to polarize and tear our country apart, and Susan Collins has supported him every step of the way. Her time is up. Collins is not
the Senator fighting for what Mainers want, she’s only fighting to keep her job in standing by this shameless President. So let’s prove her wrong, John. Standing with Trump is a losing proposition.
Can you chip in right now to support my campaign and help remove Trump-ally Susan Collins from office once and for all?
We need real political and systemic change in this country, a task Collins is clearly unfit for.
