C3-C4 Board Actions
In January the Board posted a position on
the request for 16 million dollars from the BOCC. The People's
Alliance continues to be in support of more funding and expansion of
the HEART program in Durham. The full position can be found on the PA

The budget requests to the City Council and County Commission were
sent in March. Letters to both elected boards can be found HERE.
Last fall the PA Education Team signaled
its support of the establishing a Meet and Confer process for DPS. In
March the full board voted to encourage the Board of Education members
to vote for the DAE proposal to establish that policy.
