Lately headlines like this have become the norm in our news cycle:


Across the nation, we've seen an unprecedented rise in violence and threats directed at poll workers across the country.



Since 2020, election workers across the country have been bombarded with death threats stemming from conspiracies about election fraud. The statistics say it all:



– 32% of election workers have felt unsafe because of their work.



– In North Carolina alone, 45 county election directors quit between 2019 and 2022 over the increasing dangers and stress of the job.



– 77% of election workers have felt increased threats in recent years.



Make no mistake, folks: our democracy is in crisis.



That’s why progressives just launched one of the most important initiatives to protect our democracy ahead of the 2024 presidential election.



The landmark 'Value the Vote' project will offer to provide private security and support for pro-voter election officials, expand voter access, and combat disinformation.
