After I defeated an incumbent representative in 2018 to become the first
woman of color elected to represent Massachusetts in Congress, a
16-year-old Black man from my new district came to my last hearing as a
member of the Boston City Council and said, “I need you to be more than a
first.”

Those words have stayed with me, and I’m proud to endorse Dr. Arati
Kreibich for Congress because she won’t just be a first -- she’ll fight
for what’s right.

Arati became the first South Asian woman elected to the Glen Rock, NJ
Borough Council, and in just a few weeks she’s taking on an incumbent
Congressman.

Together, Arati and I will fight for Medicare for All and the Green New
Deal. Together, we’ll fight against police brutality, racial profiling,
and excessive use of force.

[ [link removed] ]Friend, I need Arati alongside me in Washington. Can you
donate to Arati’s get-out-the-vote efforts today?

The COVID-19 pandemic has created unprecedented hurt and exposed the
entrenched disparities and inequities in our communities, but it has also
shown us why we so urgently need leaders like Dr. Arati Kreibich in
Congress.

An immigrant, a scientist, and a mother, Arati is ready to step up and
provide real leadership for the people of the New Jersey 5th.

Arati and I both support giving Americans $2,000 a month during the
pandemic instead of bailing out corporations and private equity firms.
Arati is part of our fight against racial injustice.

Friend, we need progressive leaders like Arati in Washington.

[ [link removed] ]Arati’s primary in New Jersey is less than 5 weeks away, and she’s
relying on grassroots donors like you. Can you donate now to help her WIN?

In solidarity,
