This Saturday, April 5, people across the country are taking to the streets for the Hands Off! protests. These demonstrations are a direct response to the Trump administration’s harmful policies, including cuts to Social Security and potentially Medicaid, federal layoffs, attacks on consumer protections, anti-immigrant policies, and the targeting of transgender community members. We’re also calling out Elon Musk’s growing influence over the federal government through DOGE.
Hands Off! protests will take place at state capitals, federal buildings, congressional offices, and city centers nationwide, with plenty of locations here in Maryland. Join us as we rally against the Trump and Musk takeover and demand a government that works for the people, not billionaires. |
