** Help Bring AOC & Bernie Sanders to Spokane!
------------------------------------------------------------
A fellow PNW Young Democrat, Connor, has launched an effort to bring Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Bernie Sanders to Spokane, WA, to speak to working-class people in our region! We are thrilled to take part in spreading the word about this iniative.
This is a critical opportunity to amplify the voices of red-state working-class voters and energize our movement. If they visit Spokane, it could also encourage them to make stops in places like Boise!

** Celebrating Democratic Wins
------------------------------------------------------------
Even in tough political environments, we are making progress. Here are a few recent Democratic victories:
* Susan Crawford's Victory in Wisconsin: Susan Crawford won a pivotal race for Wisconsinâs Supreme Court, securing a progressive majority despite heavy financial backing from Elon Muskâs network. This victory ensures protections for voting rights and reproductive freedoms.
* Cory Booker's Historic Speech: Senator Cory Booker delivered a 25-hour speech to protest Trump-era policies threatening Medicaid, public education, and Social Security, setting a new Senate record. His speech emphasized the need to protect vulnerable communities and uphold critical programs.
* Louisiana's Rejection of Harmful Amendments: Louisiana voters rejected all four harmful constitutional amendments proposed by their far-right governor, safeguarding voting rights, education funding, and local governance. This victory highlights the power of grassroots organizing and the will of the people.
* Pennsylvaniaâs Historic State House Flip: Democrats flipped the Pennsylvania State House, proving that grassroots organizing can make a significant impact. This victory is a major win for progressive policies in the state and strengthens Democratic control at the state level.
These wins remind us that organizing worksâand your voice matters.
Letâs keep building momentum and pushing for change. We are stronger and more formidable together.
With warmth and in solidarity,
Madeline Horak
