This spring, neonatal kittens are counting on your (double-matched!) support to survive.

It’s finally springtime, friend—and that means kitten season is here.

But without your help, this season of new life could become a season of tragedy for kittens. Right now, you could make twice the difference for kittens as your gift will be MATCHED—but only until April 30. Will you donate today to help us reach our $100,000 goal and help save kittens’ lives this spring?

Neonatal kittens—who are under four weeks of age—need constant and specialized care to survive. So when well-meaning people separate them from their mothers and bring them to animal shelters in an attempt to help, too often they are causing far more harm than good. In fact, many shelters will kill young kittens who come into their doors because they do not have the programs, staff, or training to care for them.

Together, friend, we can change that.

Instead of impounding kittens in shelters, our Wait Until 8® program educates shelters to equip community members with Kitten Care Kits, instructions, and supplies to care for kittens until they’re eight weeks old, when they can be spayed or neutered and adopted with the shelter’s support. Just one Wait Until 8 program saves countless lives.

And through our Leave Them Be® campaign, we are educating compassionate people to leave young kittens with their mothers to be raised by her—including in their outdoor home. Mom is kittens’ best caretaker, and they should never be separated. We’re bringing this critical education further—alongside our other expert resources on how to determine kittens’ age (which determines the care they need) and on how to care for kittens in the event that their mother cat is not present.

But we need your support to stop this kitten season from becoming another killing season. Help us reach our $100,000 goal.

A generous donor has promised to MATCH all gifts until our April 30 deadline to help us reach our goal! Please, will you rush a donation now to help us extend a critical lifeline to twice as many kittens?
