Don’t miss out, register today for next week’s The Policy Forum: Tariffs & the Impact on Business with David Levine, ASBN Co-founder and President, and Adam Hersh, Senior Economist, Economic Policy Institute.
Adam Hersh is one of today’s leading topic experts on tariffs, who recently briefed members of Congress on Chinese and U.S. industrial policies. Don’t miss this ASBN exclusive member opportunity to ask him your questions and hear the latest news about tariffs.
While the Policy Forum is open to ASBN members only, we still want to hear from our wider community! Please take this brief poll on tariffs. It should take no more than five minutes to complete, but it will provide us with a wealth of guidance.
The Growing GRASS Project, a key initiative of ASBN and Other-Half Processing that supports regenerative agriculture, farmers, ranchers and Native land restoration projects across the nation, is facing significant disruption due to the USDA’s funding freeze. This five-year $35 million project was set to support regenerative research and small and medium-sized US beef and bison producers — but $20 million in funds are currently frozen.
What’s at Stake
Without funding, critical work is at risk:
$18 million of dedicated support for up to 1,000 producers across the US to participate in regenerative research, value-added markets and grazing educational opportunities.
$2 million in project funding slated for the small- and medium-sized plants that do most of the United States’ regenerative meat processing.
How You Can Help
Financial support is urgently needed to sustain progress and honor work already completed by project partners. Every contribution helps build resilient supply chains that prioritize sustainability, land stewardship, and responsible sourcing.
