Hi John,
The world’s been loud these last few weeks. So I want to take a beat and cut through the noise to and show you just a few of the powerful ways It Gets Better has been uplifting and empowering LGBTQ+ youth when they’ve needed it most.
In Mississippi, It Gets Better helped [[link removed]] LGBTQ+ students turn isolation into impact—creating an after-school arts program that became a safe space at their school. Our Youth Voices ambassador Violet passionately wrote about "taking down the patriarchy with the power of lesbian love" on ItGetsBetter.org [[link removed]] and our social media channels.
John, can we count on your support today? [[link removed]]
The "Banned Words" Crossword [[link removed]] our Youth Voices helped collaborate on got the attention of Advocate, Out and the Associated Press. Our Youth Voices ambassador Stella returned for "Trans Day of Visibility" to debut the short film "Ben in Bloom," which traces their journey as a non-binary and queer teenager from the contentious Bucks County, Pennsylvania school district. It now lives exclusively on It Gets Better's YouTube channel [[link removed]]. We shared the anthology "Narrowing the Margins," [[link removed]] which was created by LGBTQ+ youth in Maryland through the support of It Gets Better: Changemakers [[link removed]]. It's a celebration or queer writers and stories at a time that efforts to silence inclusive literature are spiking in the state. Our exclusive Trans Day of Visbility "SolidariT" merch [[link removed]] is the perfect way to show up as an ally, something trans and non-binary youth need more than ever right now. All proceeds go to support It Gets Better.
When you support It Gets Better [[link removed]], you're not just donating to a cause—you’re investing in queer futures. LGBTQ+ youth are being targeted, erased, and underestimated. But they’re not backing down—and neither are we.
If you’ve ever wondered where your dollars could make the most impact, this is it. Help us build the future of this movement—one that centers queer joy, resilience, and power. Support It Gets Better today. [[link removed]]
