This morning, a close friend – more like a brother – experienced a heart attack. Thankfully, he's going to be okay, but it was a stark reminder of how precious our health is.
Usually, after my morning Sadhana (yoga, meditation, and spiritual practice), I enjoy a simple egg white and spinach omelet. I love spinach.
However, today felt different. I added a vibrant fruit salad to my plate, a small change inspired by my friend's health.
The reality is, a plant-based diet, rich in fruits, vegetables, and plant-based proteins (like tofu), offers the strongest evidence for optimal health. A flexitarian approach, with occasional lean proteins like chicken and fish, can also be beneficial, while minimizing processed and red meats.
And then there are supplements.
This holistic approach to well-being, including nutrition and targeted supplements, is something we delve into deeply in our newly updated Brain Longevity Therapy Training program.
And the best part? It's all virtual, so you can learn from the comfort of your own home.
