John,
When Trump’s USDA slashed 900,000 meals from the Food Bank of Delaware, Democratic legislators took action .
On Tuesday night, Newark-area Democrats held a food drive at the Food Bank’s headquarters—and the response was overwhelming. Volunteers packed the warehouse. Families showed up with donations. Delawareans answered the call.
Now, we’re doing it again—this time in Milford .

This crisis isn’t theoretical. It’s real. Families are going hungry because of federal cuts—and we’re stepping up to help fill the gap.
If you’re in the Milford area, come by, bring a few shelf-stable items, and show what community looks like in action. Most-needed items include peanut butter, canned meats and veggies, cereal, rice, and pasta.

Delaware Democrats are proud to fight for our neighbors—and we know this community will keep showing up.
Spread the word. Show up if you can. Let’s finish what we started.
