John, Democratic pro-choice women have to overcome all kinds of barriers when running for office, including the myth of "electability."

[Newspaper headline: "Once again, a Trump win has 'insiders' questioning women's electability. Mikie shrugs it off in New Jersey."]

Women candidates often face questions about how "electable" they are. Men running for office simply don’t get asked that question.

Let's get one thing straight, John:

Women candidates are electable if you elect them.

Rep. Mikie Sherrill (NJ-GOV) is proof of that.

Mikie was told during her first U.S. House run in 2018 that "people didn't think a woman could win in New Jersey." She proved them wrong — flipping a long-time Republican seat and winning by 15 percentage points!!

Now, she's ready to prove the skeptics wrong again.

Mikie is the only woman — and the front runner — in the crowded New Jersey Democratic primary for governor, and we know she is best positioned to win in November.

Split a donation between the Sherrill campaign and EMILYs List to help elect more Democratic pro-choice women like Mikie:
