Thanks for all you do for wild animals in need!

Hello John,

What’s your favourite animal? From two lion brothers rescued from Ukraine, to peaceful pangolins and orphan monkeys, this month’s edition of Wild Voice has fascinating updates on several well-loved Born Free species.

But, there’s news on more unusual animals too, with a campaign to protect hares, plus a chance to meet Geoff the warthog. There are plenty of ways to get involved as well, so why don’t YOU go wild this spring with Born Free?!

TSAR & JAMIL: ONE YEAR ON!

Tsar and Jamil had a terrible start to life but, with your help, we’ve been making it up to them. Enjoy our new film of the young lions – rescued from war-torn Ukraine – enjoying our tranquil sanctuary in South Africa.

Action for hares

Can you ask your MP to protect hares from hunters? During their breeding season, these magical animals have no legal protection in England and Wales, and 300,000 or more are shot each year for ‘sport’.

Footsteps to Freedom

You won’t believe who attended our fundraising gala, a few days ago in London! Missed out? You can read all it about and watch our glorious film of the star-studded evening, which raised vital funds for wildlife.

ROAR for our runners!

Our dynamic squad of 18 superstars are training hard for the London Marathon, on Sunday 27th April. It’s the challenge of a lifetime and they want to raise £30,000 for wildlife. They’re on their way, but need YOU!

How to not get eaten

If you were stolen from the wild as a baby, how could you learn to avoid leopards, and other predators? A remarkable creative project in Zambia is helping orphan monkeys return safely to the wild.

Say hello to Geoff…

He’s already stolen our hearts – just wait till you see his video! A tiny orphan warthog now has a second chance of life and two new duiker companions, thanks to our long-term colleagues in Malawi.
