Momentum is on Democrats’ side — take a look at last night’s election results:

In Wisconsin, Judge Susan Crawford decisively defeated MAGA candidate Brad Schimel, even after Elon Musk poured tens of millions of dollars into the race.

In Florida, Democrats dramatically overperformed in two special congressional elections. Democrat Gay Valimont claimed the best performance from a Democrat in Florida’s 1st Congressional District this century and became the first Democrat in almost two decades to flip Escambia County.

In Florida’s 6th, Democrat Josh Weil secured a massive overperformance in a Trump +30 district.

People across the country are furious with what they’re seeing from Trump and Elon Musk — and they’re voting accordingly.

As DNC Chair Ken Martin says, the thing about momentum is that it’s contagious, and now it’s up to us to keep it going. The DNC invested in both Wisconsin and Florida’s state parties to help reach as many voters as possible in the last few weeks, and we’re committed to doing the same to help support Democrats in upcoming special elections nationwide. We know there’s still a long way to go to winning Congress in 2026 and the presidency in 2028, but we’re seeing early what happens when we organize everywhere, fight like hell, and mobilize grassroots energy in defense of the values we hold near and dear.
