The Save Act

In the coming days, the House of Representatives could consider the SAVE Act. This bill would ensure that only American citizens vote in our federal elections. I will work to secure our elections and keep non-citizens from voting.

Chairing a Hearing on Drone Usage and Welcoming Raspet Flight Research Laboratory as a Witness

As the Chairman of the Subcommittee on Border Security and Enforcement of the House Committee on Homeland Security, I hosted a hearing on how drones play an important role in border security. Watch my opening statement here:

Welcoming Intern Hayes Johnson to Washington, D.C.

I am pleased to announce that Hayes Johnson III from Long Beach, Mississippi, is interning in my office this spring. Hayes is a sophomore at Mississippi State University studying political science and finance with a minor in pre-law. He is also a member of the Famous Maroon Band and an Eagle Scout. Thank you, Hayes, for your work serving the people of the Third Congressional District of Mississippi.
