In the words of George Jones, “the race is on and it looks like heartache” - for Patrick Morrisey! The campaign finance results are in for the primary: together, we’ve raised over 80% of what Patrick Morrisey has raised. And we’ve outperformed our primary competition nearly 20-to-1 on small-dollar donations this quarter.  But we need to do even more. Let’s out-raise Morrisey dollar for dollar. Let’s show the world that West Virginia wants to get on the right side of history. Let’s send Morrisey packing. I’m sincerely grateful to each and every one of you, and dozens of volunteers across the state who are breathing life into this campaign every single day. Thank you.

Our ads on TV, newspapers, and radio---along with our powerful social media campaign---are reaching, motivating, and moving West Virginians who are voting in record numbers.  But still yet, many voters don’t know about the Attorney General’s office, so your support now will ensure that we grab their attention and activate their support. 

 

For the past twelve months, we’ve run a sharp campaign fueled by the best political strategies and good old-fashioned West Virginia know-how.  But we need you to sustain our message statewide during the coming weeks and months. This is why your ongoing support is so critical to keep our campaign going strong and reach as many voters as possible. 

 

West Virginians deserve an Attorney General who has proven that he can deliver legal results and accountability from our state agencies. Not a political show horse. Not an ideologue who has fought to take healthcare away from hundreds of thousands of us, especially during these trying times of the pandemic when West Virginians are so worried about staying safe and healthy.

 

We can’t afford to have an Attorney General who lacks the skills or the commitment to protect West Virginians any longer.
