Last night, my colleague and friend Senator Cory Booker held the floor longer than any Senator in history—25 hours of strong, principled opposition.

At a time when the rule of law, freedom of speech, and basic decency are under attack, Cory brought extraordinary moral clarity to the Senate floor:

“It is not a matter of right and left; it is a matter of right and wrong.”

He’s correct.

This moment requires unprecedented opposition—and opposition that transcends partisanship.

The threats we face are real.

If we allow it, authoritarianism will continue to infect our Republic through intimidation, division, exhaustion, and fear.

But Cory isn’t backing down.
Neither am I.
And neither are you.

Cory and I are both up for re-election in 2026.

We need to elect Senators who will do what it takes to fight back. These midterms are shaping up to be the most consequential in generations.
