Friend,
I don’t know about you, but I am FIRED UP from what just happened in Wisconsin. What a great week for the power of people over the people in power.
I never remembered voting for the richest person in the world to run our government, and I certainly didn’t remember our state’s northern neighbors asking him to put his thumb on the scale of their judicial elections, pulling out novelty checks and trying to bribe everyday people for his long-term personal gain.
But last night, voters went to the polls and they resoundingly voted against Trump and Musk and for their rights and a better future for their state.
Turns out, screwing over our small businesses, scientists, farmers and veterans is not a good way to make America great.
This is proof that we’re tired of extremists flooding our state and local governments with dangerous legislation, while ignoring the basic needs of our communities. We need fewer extremists with a megaphone and more common-sense leaders who want to look after their neighbors, protect their community, and respect the rights of everyone.
And this overwhelming enthusiasm we’re feeling is a powerful reminder of the collective strength and dedication of this people-powered movement – and where we can go from here.
I know I am going to fight even harder to defeat MAGA extremism and build the blue wave that takes back the House. And I hope you’ll join me.
Please donate $3 right now to help send an unmistakable message that Democrats are unified and ready to back our government and defeat MAGA extremism for good.
