We built a people powered movement beholden to no one except the everyday Americans who built it, and it shocked the nation.

In the days leading up to the election, the strength of our campaign had President Trump and the billionaire oligarchs completely panicked. Trump sacked the nomination of GOP Rep. Elise Stefanik for UN Ambassador to prevent the possibility of losing the House majority, he took time out of his schedule to campaign with my opponent, and his cronies dumped $4 million dollars of dark money into the race in the closing days.

Despite this, we were able to shift the district blue by historic margins.

Although we did not win, these results should terrify Republicans in Congress who are thinking of supporting Trump’s plan to end Social Security and cut Medicaid & Medicare while giving billionaires trillions of dollars in tax-breaks. Working class Americans across Florida and this nation will not stand for it. 

If the results of our campaign are replicated across the country, the GOP will stand to lose 40+ seats in the upcoming 2026 midterms.

Last night, in my speech to supporters, I said that I don’t believe that FL-6 is a deep red district - but a neglected district. Because of your support, we were able to make an investment in the type of grassroots organizing that has never been done before in this district.

This fills me with hope for the future of FL-6. We are so grateful for every single donor, volunteer, and team member, who gave it their all to fight against tyranny and for a brighter future.
