Meanwhile, the United States has the highest rate of gun violence in the world.

Now, we have seen far-right counter-protestors threatening unarmed, peaceful protestors in the streets all over the nation.

So we must DEMAND Congress cut ties with the NRA.

It’s so sad that we live in a time where children are terrified to go to school for fear of getting shot. Where parents are afraid for their children’s safety. Let us be clear -- as a nation, we can and MUST do better on Gun Violence Prevention. And that starts with ending the NRA’s reign over Congress over issues of public safety.
