Hello,
I was raised by a single mother – an immigrant who brought my brother and me to the United States with not much more than the dream of a better life. And she is the most incredible human being on earth.
My mom left everything behind – not even knowing much English – for us.

When I was growing up, we struggled financially. A lot. There were times we had to rely on food stamps to eat. We lost our home during the Great Recession. I got a job at McDonald’s as a teen and sold the plasma in my blood to help pay our bills. But it was when we had the least that it felt like we had the most.
Some might say I come from a broken home. But mom never let it feel that way. She taught us how to be strong. How to love. How to dream.
My mom was by my side as I was sworn into the Colorado House of Representatives, and as she hugged me after, she whispered in my ear: “Who said the sky is the limit?” – an embarrassingly cheesy phrase I used to tell her all the time when I was a tween.

I bet my mom never imagined that her son would graduate from Yale Law School or fight for families like ours in the state legislature. She certainly never thought I’d run for the United States House of Representatives. But if I can bring even a fraction of her love, her care, and her integrity to Washington… Well, we’d be a heck of a lot better off than we are with our current so-called "representatives."
I’m running for Congress because too many good people like my mom are still struggling just to get by, and there’s nobody fighting for them in Washington right now. Too many politicians – Republicans and Democrats – have cozied up to billionaires, taken millions in corporate PAC money, and frankly sold out families like ours.
This district was one of the closest in the entire country in 2024. Republicans flipped this seat red and held onto their House majority by fewer than 2,500 votes, and it’s already being called a toss-up again.
I am ready to flip this seat back to being blue and show what it looks like when Democrats actually fight for working class families like mine – but I am counting on your help now to do it. We need to raise another $5,000 before midnight tonight to fight back against the Republican Super PACs and win this toss-up seat – but right now, we’re still very short with time running out.

My mother is my number one fan and my best friend. Thank you for letting me be a mama’s boy and share a little bit about her with you.
