I’ve spent decades working in crisis zones, and I’ve seen firsthand how conflict, disaster, and disease push entire health systems to the brink. But what always stays with me — what gives me HOPE — is the courage of our team members and partners who show up, no matter the odds.
Right now, the people of Myanmar are facing an unimaginable tragedy after a catastrophic 7.7 earthquake. Thousands of people are dead, injured, or missing. Communities have been destroyed. Many families cannot find enough clean water or food.
In the face of such devastation, Project HOPE’s team members and partners are on the ground providing desperately needed aid.
