Whether someone is autistic or not, feeling included and accepted is
critical to mental health. That's why we provide inclusive care
for children and job training services for adults that make a lasting
difference and promote autism acceptance in key areas of society.
Through this critical work, we've identified a couple key ways
in which all of us can better support autistic people:
1. ) Just because an autistic person doesn't respond,
don't assume they don't understand.
2. ) When an autistic person is having a difficult time, ask them
if they need help - but respect their answer!
It doesn't take much to show your support for autistic people,
friend. And as a dedicated supporter of our work
for people with disabilities, we hope you'll join us to help
