Friend, our last survey asked this team one question — how have Trump's policies impacted you? Hundreds of people wrote in about their experiences. Here are just a few of the responses: I am a disabled Veteran and a 23+ year federal employee. Will I have a job? Will I be able to provide for my family? Those are the pressing questions on my mind day to day. I know some people who are undocumented. I'm frightened for them. So far, I've been impacted by being dropped by Medicaid and losing my SSDI payments. I have a chronic illness that has kept me from working since (my) diagnosis 5 years ago… I don't like the path that our country is heading down. I am a teacher and am terrified of losing my job and my school not receiving the funds it needs… He is not for the people, but for his rich buddies. Please know that I hear you and your concerns. Every day, the Trump administration is causing incalculable harm to real people, but we don’t have to stand by and accept it. My team and I are pushing back by supporting and electing Democrats at every level of government. This is a fight for our public schools and education system, for veterans and federal workers, for working-class families just trying to get by, and for everyone affected by this administration’s slash-and-burn approach to our federal government.
