Election results are in from Wisconsin, and the state’s Supreme Court race
has officially been called for Susan Crawford!
[ [link removed] ]The New York Times: Liberal Wins Wisconsin Court Race, Despite Musk’s
Millions. Susan Crawford defeated Brad Schimel for a State Supreme Court
seat in a race that shattered spending records and maintained a liberal
majority on the court.
That means billionaire Elon Musk dropped more than $25 million for
nothing. His attempts to buy this court seat — including giving away $1
million checks to two voters who cast a ballot for the Trump-loyalist
candidate — failed.
It goes to show that people can overpower money. Turnout was
“extraordinarily high” in this spring off-year election and Crawford
“handily won,” proving that the voters did not fall for Musk’s bribery and
did not want a rubber-stamp for the Trump-Musk agenda on this court.
As Crawford said last night, “Wisconsin stood up and said loudly that
justice does not have a price. Our courts are not for sale.”

building the resources needed to stop Trump, Musk, and their allies from
